Chris Raymond
Chris has over 30 years experience in the boating industry. Opening his business in 2007 and incorporating in 2013. He employs 4 people including a red seal technician, apprentice attending Georgian College and office staff. We repair all makes and models of engines including inboard, inboard/outboard and outboard.
Growing up as an Island cottager on the Big Rideau, Chris has had the good fortune of being around boating all his life. From gas dock attendant to cutting grass, changing oil and repairing engines. Hanging upside down in the smallest places making sure whatever he was working on was to his satisfaction as well as the customers. He loves what he does!
Starting at Len’s Cove in Portland in the early 80’s then moving to Rideau Ferry Chris was encouraged by John McLaughlan to start his own Marine business. In 2007 Raymond Marine Services opened its doors, incorporating in 2013, Chris has been growing his customer base by providing excellent workmanship and guaranteeing customer expectations are achieved.
